Meet the woman behind the camera

Hi, I'm Haley. Thanks for dropping by to learn a little about me. I'm a mother to two lovely children. My son, Oliver, is five and my daughter, Gemma, is one. I have 3 dogs as well! My two teeny pups, Puppy + Ginger, and my Goldendoodle, Rosie Posie. When I'm not behind the camera, you can find mom-ing, doing laundry, chasing dogs around my yard, and avoiding eye contact. Super interesting, right? I enjoy painting, ALL things crafty, reading books to my kids, and - of course - DOGS!

When I was a child, if you asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up you would've heard "veterinarian". If you asked my family what they thought I would/should be, you would've heard  "photographer". Turns out they were right! (Cliche, I know) I always had point and shoot cameras growing up and that was enough. I preferred painting more than photographing things because I had nothing that inspired me to take pictures besides dogs. When I got pregnant with my son in 2014, I knew I wanted to be able to take quality pictures of my son - more than a phone could accomplish. My mom gifted me my first "real" camera at my baby shower. That's when it all started.

I started out just taking pictures of my son. I would post them on Facebook and everyone LOVED them. By the time he was six months old, I had friends asking me to take pictures of their kids and families. I've been learning and shooting ever since. I've upgraded my equipment, experimented with what genres of photography bring me joy, and tried my best to push my self out of my comfort zone to be able to grow my business and well... here we are almost six years later!

I've found what I love and I intend to continue to flourish my craft. I LOVE photographing children, couples, and dogs. (lol, I'm a huge dog person if you haven't noticed by now) I can't wait to capture all the sweet memories you want to cherish forever!
